Bradenham Wands Reserves 3, Narborough 1.

Bradenham Reserves gave a good account of themselves to win through to the semi-final of the Ben Smith Cup against first division Narborough.
After just 12 mins a good Bradenham move on the right left Ashby through and his excellent lob beat the visitors' keeper to give the home side the lead. Ten mins later Gamble shot wide of the Narborough left hand post when clean through, but the visitors equalised soon after when their no.6 volleyed home brilliantly from an accurate corner. Within a minute Bradenham were ahead again when that man Ashby this time beat the visitors' keeper to the ball after some good approach work. Just before half time Ashby headed over when well placed for what looked likely to give him a well-deserved hat-trick.  H.T 2-1.
On 55 mins Foster's shot was well saved by the visitors' keeper, and soon after Ashby was substituted for Brennan. On 70 mins Seabright coolly slotted home a penalty which was awarded for a nudge in the box. Foster then headed over and a great left foot shot by Seabright was well saved. A fine pass from Seabright found Dagg whose shot was deflected over the bar.
Sexton had an excellent game in the Bradenham defence, and Narborough never gave up and played their part in an entertaining match.
Final score  3 - 1.
