HELLESDON 4, BRADENHAM WANDERERS 2

Bradenham made the short trip to Hellesdon for this top of the table clash, having won on both previous meetings between these sides this season.
Hellesdon bombarded the visitors' defence right from the start and within two minutes took the lead. Bradenham's slow start continued and within 15 minutes they found themselves 3-0 down. Slow starts have become something of a habit in recent games but they usually recover quickly, and towards the end of the first half Craig Clarke opened Bradenham's account with a well-taken goal.
H.T. 3-1.
The visitors started the second half well and skipper Ricky Forder scored a second, but with the emphasis on playing 'catch-up' this left the Bulldogs' rearguard exposed and Hellesdon added a fourth.
With 15 minutes left Bradenham were awarded a penalty which was unfortunately missed, and in the end Hellesdon ran out worthy winners.
On a positive note a number of other results went in Bradenham's favour and there were a number of good individual performances, particularly those of Frappell and Derbyshire.
This was the Wanderers first league defeat of the season, a great credit to manager Les Tufts and the club in general, and hopefully it will prove to be a springboard to another run of good results. Les is confident he can lift his team for a run of tough matches coming up in the next few weeks.
Final score  4-2.
